CSF Helical Rotor Pump
Below is an example of a CSF helical rotor pump used in the food processing industry for pumping fruit products.
As the product was extremely viscous, there was a risk that a conventional pump would be unable to draw the liquid in through the inlet, so a CSF helical rotor pump was selected complete with a screw feed hopper assembly.
As the hopper is filled with fruit product, the screw feeder gently feeds the product into the pump, ensuring that the pump does not cavitate. The CSF pump is of a sanirary design and was mounted on a fabriacted Stainless Steel base.
