Diesel Driven Texel Pump
For mobile appplications such as tanker unloading, having electrically powered pumps can be inconvenient.
Process Pumps was able to design and assemble a diesel driven magnetic drive centrifugal pump for unloading fuel additives from a tanker. The Texel pump is of polypropylene construction giving excellent chemical resistance where necessary.
The reliability of a diesel engine ensures long duty cycles, and the magnetic drive Texel pump has no mechanical seals, minimising any potential leakage. As the fuel additive being pumped needed to be kept uncontaminated, the magnetic drive design prevents outside contaminents from entering the pump chamber.
